Pet Sitting Services

                                         Hi. I'm Julie Garcia, owner/operator

of Your Pet's Nanny.  I've been a Ventura

resident since 1966.  I started my pet

sitting service in 1996. I knew there were

other people like me that just didn't want

to put their pets in a kennel or

veterinarian's office for boarding.

I am more than just your hobby pet sitter.  Pet sitting is a

privilege and a responsibility I've taken seriously. I am licensed

and insured, pet CPR and first aid certified, and a member of

NAPPS; the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters.

Why do I do all this? To protect you, the consumer and pet parent. By taking these steps you can rest assured, you hired the right person to take care of two of the most important things things in your life. Your pets and your home.

I started my business in 1996, before pet sitting was an "industry." For over 20 years I have been providing trustworthy, dependable, high quality service.  I have continued to grow over the years by word of mouth and an honest reputation. Recently I was a recipient of the Angie's List Super Service Award for 2016. I want to make sure you have a positive experience when using my pet sitting services the first time and for years to come.

How my service works: I make house calls. I can come to your home once a day, twice a day, three times a day. I can stay up to 10 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, one hour and longer if you want. If you think your pets need more time and human companionship I may consider staying overnight with your pets if it's a good fit. Visit the Services Page for current services and rates (overnight house sitting is not a listed service but it will be considered if it's a good fit for all). When reviewing the pricing please consider each trip costs about me about $15 to make a house call just to cover my expenses. Yes, a 10 year old neighbor kid could do this for less... But do you really want a kid to take care of your precious pets and your home too? If you're reading this far, you definitely don't want to bother your neighbor or trust a kid, and you want a reliable, responsible person instead. Well, look no farther.
