Pet Sitting Services

Payment Policies:

     Nonrefundable Deposit:

  •  A $25 (50% on legal holidays*) nonrefundable deposit (or amount in full if service requested is lower) is requested to hold your dates of service and secure your reservation. Any remaining balance due is due upon completion of services.

     How to Pay by Credit Card:

  • Invoices will be texted to your cell phone or emailed from NOTICE: There is a 3% surcharge for credit card processing.

     How to Pay by Check:

  • Mail the nonrefundable deposit no later than 5 days before the start date. Leave a check with the balance due the 1st visit. The mailing address is not posted online and will be presented upon request of payment.

     How to Pay by Cash:

  • The nonrefundable deposit should be paid either by check 5 days before the start date, or paid by credit card 3 days before the start date. Leave the balance due, in cash, in an envelope with my name on it, for me to find on the 1st visit.

Cancellation Policy:

     Refunds - When you cancel or return early and have paid electronically:

  • If you need to cancel, or return early, and have prepaid via credit card, you can  request a refund back to your credit card for any unused visits, less the nonrefundable deposit.​

     Refunds - When you return early and have paid by cash or check:

  • No refunds when services have started if you return early when you’ve prepaid by check or cash. Any unused visits can be credited toward future services. Or, a credit on your account, if any, can be gifted to a nearby friend or neighbor in Ventura (93001, 93003, 93004 zip codes). NOTICE: Credit on account, if any, will expire 6 months/182 days from the date of cancellation. If you need to cancel before services begin we will only keep the nonrefundable deposit and no check will be picked up on the 1st visit.

Additional Charge on Legal Holidays:
*There is an additional charge when services are provided on legal holidays:
​New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Our Hours of Operation:
Pet-sitting services are usually performed between 8 AM and 7 PM, 7 days a week, by appointment.

Returned check or electronic payment fee:
A returned payment fee up to $35 (thirty-five dollars) may be charged if any check, other instrument, or electronic payment authorization you provide us is not honored on first presentment. Any payment received after the specified due date shall start to accrue interest at the rate of 1.5% per month and an additional $15 (fifteen dollars) will be added to any invoice 30 days past due. In addition, you will be liable to Your Pet's Nanny, Inc. for all costs of collection on unpaid invoices, including attorney's fees.
